Not so far so good.
Well, I just remembered about this blog.
It's been darn near 2 years since I posted here.
Goes to show you that my 'experiment' is certainly a learning
experience. I've learned that in the last 2 years, I haven't been living
the life that I wanted to. You see, I want to push myself and explore some
writing that I (for some reason or another) feel like I should work on and hopefully
someday be good at. So, I haven't achieved anything in this regard, yet the thoughts
haven't disappeared over the last 2 years that this is something I should do.
So, maybe I'll try try again.

I understand the need for an exressive outlet, and I truly respect the way you have done so in the blog. I have a strong belief, Dave, that you have been gifted with this passion on your heart to inspire and encourage. Not because you are simply a good writer (which you are) but because God is using you to tell a very important message...that He reigns supreme and that we work for Him. Our lives are completely meaningless without this knowledge. Dave, I want you to take this as a piece of encouragement and perhaps a gentle instruction that you need to formally write all of these thoughts down! A blog site is a fabulous way to journal your continuous comtemplations and reflections. But the fire you have for the things of heaven needs to be shared with a much larger population. What a fabulous gift, to inspire others to follow Christ. I hope that you will take every opportunity! I'm not sure why, but I felt that I needed to tell you that.
If it means anything, I will read every book you write!!
An outlet of expressive creativity and contemplation, what a great idea for a man with a such an obvious passion. From the first day I met you, you challenged me to ponder upon the very thing that causes me to be passionate. Over the years, my passion has remained the same, yet entirely unidentifed. It has grown stronger and more obvious, and I finally know that I need to share it with others. What you have, Dave, is a passion that you have known for a considerably long time, and you share it with us in this blog. That the Lord reigns supreme and that we work for him. You are right, he has chosen you. I have always seen a fire in you begging to be shared with the world, and I hope that you take every opportunity to do so. I also find it necessary to tell you that you need formally write all of these thoughts down into a coherent piece of literature. Not because you are a talented writer (which you are) but because God has called you to be his voice in this 'dumb dirty world'. I'm not sure why, but I felt compelled to tell you this. And, if it helps, I will read everything you write!
